Coronavirus (COVID-19) is already impacting most businesses in one way or another. The CDS Management team is following developments and government guidance and we are dedicated to providing our services to our customers. We have business continuity plans in place and our staff are equipped to work remotely to ensure we are able to support our customers, especially those needing to stay open to assist with responding to the outbreak. Here are some commonly asked questions:

Will my delivery, installation, or service still take place?

The COVID-19 outbreak has not affected our supply chain. Customers with installations scheduled will continue as normal. Please let us know as soon as possible if your own policies change and our field-based staff are not able to access your site for a planned meeting or delivery. Our Service Technicians, Analysts, and Logistics personnel are following CDC Guidelines and we are monitoring our personnel to ensure that none are visiting areas with virus exposure.

It is our job to understand mobile working solutions and as such we believe that we are in a strong position to keep our Help desk operating come what may.

How can I clean my unit's touchscreen?

Touch pads should be wiped down with a soft cloth (non-paper/lint-free) lightly dampened. Your document handler should have a small cleaning cloth tucked into the inside top. A disinfectant wipe is suitable, but ensure to avoid excessive wiping/pressure. To prevent spread of germs, a bottle of hand sanitizer can be used before and after using your unit.

Please know that you should *never* spray water/cleaners directly onto your printer.

With the Xerox® Mobile Link App, you can scan, fax and print from your phone or tablet by connecting with Xerox® multifunction printers (MFPs). It is also able to send data to cloud storage.
